Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is a nationally recognized leader in the senior living industry, committed to providing exceptional care and enriching the lives of older adults. With a reputation for fostering warm, welcoming communities, Sunrise Senior Living has been certified as a Great Place to Work® for nine consecutive times by Activated Insights. This recognition highlights their commitment to creating a supportive work environment where employees can grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
Sunrise of Wayne is one of the many communities under this respected brand, dedicated to empowering residents to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. By joining the team at Sunrise of Wayne, employees become part of a vibrant culture that values every individual’s contribution and encourages the pursuit of personal and professional growth. The community thrives on a mission centered around respect, compassion, and integrity, aiming to create a home-like atmosphere that residents and their families can trust and appreciate.
The Concierge role at Sunrise of Wayne serves as the initial contact and first impression for potential residents, their families, and visitors. This is a pivotal customer-facing position that requires a mix of excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to high-quality service. The Concierge is responsible for greeting everyone who enters the community with warmth and professionalism, managing incoming calls, handling inquiries about the community, and supporting the recruitment efforts by engaging potential candidates.
In addition to providing outstanding customer service, the Concierge assists the Business Office Coordinator and HR designee with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the community. This includes data entry, managing appointment schedules, monitoring the Bistro area for atmosphere and cleanliness, and contributing to risk management by enforcing safety protocols. The role also involves sales and marketing support by maintaining marketing materials, assisting with lead tracking, and supporting the resident move-in process.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and Sunrise’s proprietary systems. This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a community-focused team dedicated to enhancing residents' experiences and supporting the overall well-being of the community.
Sunrise Senior Living prioritizes health and safety, and employment for this position is contingent upon successful pre-employment screenings and health evaluations as per applicable laws, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations if mandated. Compensation for the Concierge position is competitive and varies based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and experience.
Joining Sunrise of Wayne as a Concierge means joining a team that values teamwork, positivity, and compassion. It’s a role that provides fulfillment through daily interactions with residents and guests, supporting the mission to positively impact lives. Beyond the rewarding nature of the work, employees have access to generous benefits like comprehensive medical coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more, making Sunrise Senior Living not only a great place to work but a place to build a meaningful career that truly shines.
