Job Description
Watermark Retirement Communities is a premier organization dedicated to creating extraordinary and innovative senior living communities where residents truly thrive. With over 30 years of leadership in the senior housing industry, Watermark continuously reinvents the concept of retirement living by blending compassionate care with innovative services and a vibrant community environment. Each Watermark community is more than just a place to live—it is a nurturing, inspiring environment designed to foster independence, meaningful relationships, and an improved quality of life for seniors. Watermark's commitment to excellence is reflected in its dedication to hiring passionate professionals who share their mission and values. The company prides itself on being an inclusive, supportive employer that embraces diversity and provides opportunities for growth and development across all levels.
At Watermark, the role of Concierge is a vital front-line position that represents the heart and soul of the community experience. Unlike a traditional concierge title, this role extends far beyond basic duties, involving interpersonal warmth, organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to service. The concierge is often the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, making their role crucial in establishing a welcoming, positive first impression and ongoing engagement. Watermark seeks individuals who are not only skilled and experienced but who are compassionate, patient, and exceptionally organized. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes great pride in their work and understands that every person entering the community deserves to feel valued and important.
This role offers an incredible opportunity to become a key player in one of the most respected retirement communities in the area. A Watermark concierge will enjoy a balanced schedule of Sunday through Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM closing shifts, providing ample time to build meaningful, trusted relationships with residents. Candidates looking for a role with purpose, who want to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of seniors, will find Watermark the perfect environment to thrive professionally and personally. The community also places a strong emphasis on continual learning and skill development, offering education and training programs to support career advancement.
Beyond the gratification of contributing to seniors' enriched lifestyles, Watermark offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits. Employees have access to immediate earned income through the Dayforce Wallet mobile app, flexible shift scheduling, recognition and rewards programs, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, 401k plans, and associate discounts. Watermark is committed to fostering a workplace that respects and celebrates diversity, promoting an inclusive culture where every associate belongs and can grow. The organization is also a proud equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds including minorities, women, veterans, the disabled, and LGBTQ individuals.
Joining Watermark Retirement Communities means becoming part of a team that is passionate about transforming senior living. If you have a passion for working with seniors and prior concierge experience, this is a unique chance to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive community that values excellence and heartfelt service. Watermark invites you to bring your talents and enthusiasm to their team and be a part of their exciting journey into the future of senior living.
