The Concierge role at Via 6 is central to maintaining this exceptional community spirit. This position is perfect for someone with a warm and compassionate personality who enjoys creating lasting positive impressions. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, associates, and vendors, greeting them with friendliness and professionalism. Your role is vital in ensuring that the community runs smoothly by managing time effectively, providing thorough attention to detail, and being a trustworthy team player who takes pride in their work.
In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a welcoming environment, helping residents and prospective residents with their needs, and actively promoting community events and activities to encourage participation. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining knowledge of the community’s features, amenities, and competitive landscape to provide informed assistance. You will coordinate and execute a variety of both virtual and in-person events that foster community engagement and enhance residents' living experience.
Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will respond promptly to calls and emails, facilitate apartment tours with energy and enthusiasm, and manage the flow of information between residents, vendors, and the management team. Upholding Weidner’s high-quality standards, you will ensure that common areas and apartments are maintained with care. Additional duties include managing the reception and delivery of packages, assisting with amenity scheduling, and developing community partnerships that enhance the atmosphere at Via 6.
This role is designed for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and property management software like Yardi and Paycom is a plus, although a willingness to learn new technologies is essential. Working outside normal business hours and flexibility to work at other Weidner properties may occasionally be required. Reliability, promptness, and professionalism are expected at all times, alongside compliance with all relevant laws and Weidner policies.

Job Requirements
- Must agree to criminal background check and voluntary drug testing agreement
- must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation at all times
- driver’s license, vehicle and insurance must be valid and unexpired and match the country of work
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn and contribute
- ability to manage multiple tasks
- able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email and text
- experienced in Microsoft products preferred
- willing and able to learn new software programs
- follow company mission, vision and values
- comply with all policies and procedures as well as Fair Housing and relevant laws
- maintain professional appearance and wear company dress code
- work effectively in a team environment or independently
- ability to work outside normal scheduled hours as needed
- willing to be assigned to other properties as needed
- working knowledge of English
- detail oriented and well organized
Job Duties
- Positively interact with residents and prospective residents on a daily basis
- establish friendly rapport and warmly welcome them into the community
- maintain in-depth knowledge of community, residents and competitor properties
- plan, organize and execute virtual and in-person events and activities for residents
- promote and encourage residents to participate in events through multiple forms of communication
- respond promptly to resident and prospective resident calls and emails
- answer incoming calls and convert phone calls into walk-in traffic
- set viewing appointments
- tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm
- maintain communication follow-up for traffic, emails and phone calls
- ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained
- foster and develop community partnerships
- accept and deliver all incoming packages for residents promptly
- assist and manage amenity scheduling
