Currently, QSL Management is looking for a Concierge to join the vibrant community at The Blake, a distinguished senior living community known for its dedication to quality and resident satisfaction. This position plays a crucial role as the initial point of contact for residents, guests, and staff, and as such, it requires an individual who exemplifies warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness. The Concierge is responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere through excellent hospitality and efficient front desk operations. This includes answering phones with courtesy, directing visitors properly, and maintaining cleanliness in the lobby and front porch areas. Furthermore, the Concierge supports community events and activities, particularly during lower-traffic times such as evenings and weekends, helping to foster a lively and engaging environment. Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two years general office experience including reception
  • experience with older adult population preferred
  • professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • ability to work in team environment
  • attentive to details, able to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
  • basic knowledge with Microsoft Word preferred
  • basic knowledge with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules in 24-hour operation including weekends and holidays as requested

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two years general office experience including reception experience
  • experience working with older adult population preferred
  • professional and polished communication skills with proper grammar and pleasant voice tone
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and oral/written skills
  • ability to work in team environment
  • attentive to details and able to multi-task amidst interruptions
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred

  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Offer high level hospitality to all residents, guests and employees
  • fulfills front desk responsibilities including answering the phone courteously and directing visitors appropriately
  • ensure appropriate in/out procedures are followed
  • maintain cleanliness of lobby and front porch area
  • assist with activities conducted in the lobby, especially during weekend/evening times
  • lead weekend/evening activities when less traffic occurs
  • assist with other general office tasks upon request
