GenCare Lifestyle is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through its Whole Life Living™ program, which emphasizes holistic well-being by nurturing the mind, body, and soul. The company fosters an environment where residents and staff alike benefit from a rich, supportive community atmosphere designed to promote health, happiness, and dignity throughout all stages of aging.
We are currently seeking a caring and professional Part-Time Concierge to join our team at GenCare Lifestyle Pt. Ruston. Your role will also include light housekeeping of main common areas such as dusting and vacuuming, along with clerical duties like operating a multi-line telephone system and greeting guests.
In this position, you will be responsible for directing phone calls, assisting department managers, problem-solving resident and family needs, and ensuring safety and confidentiality within the community. Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families is a key aspect of this role, allowing you to contribute positively to their daily experiences. The community values professionalism, a cheerful personality, and the ability to multitask efficiently, making this an ideal position for someone who is mature, adaptable, and compassionate. Previous front desk experience is necessary, and experience working with seniors is highly valued.
As a part-time employee at GenCare Lifestyle, you will enjoy a robust benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. Benefits include paid sick leave accrual with rollover options, eligibility for a 401K plan with employer match after six months, access to employee assistance programs, quarterly raises, free continuing education units, and reimbursement for annual LPN and CNA licenses. Additionally, employees receive a complimentary meal while at work. These benefits are part of the company’s commitment to Whole Life Living™, ensuring that staff feel valued and supported while they contribute meaningfully to the community.
