Lifespace Communities is a distinguished leader in the senior living industry, headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas, Texas. As one of the nation’s largest non-profit retirement community providers, Lifespace operates with a mission to create vibrant, empowering communities where residents are encouraged to live fully and embrace their aspirations. With a dedicated team of over 4,500 employees, Lifespace serves more than 5,100 residents, emphasizing a culture of purpose-driven service and personalized experiences across all its communities. The Craig, located at 5500 SW 9th Ave in Amarillo, Texas, is one of Lifespace’s exceptional communities dedicated to providing outstanding living experiences in a warm and welcoming environment.
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Concierge to join our Customer Service team at The Craig. This hourly position offers a competitive pay range from $12.72 to $17.49 and invites individuals who are passionate about serving others and fostering meaningful connections. As a Concierge, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents and visitors by providing courteous assistance, knowledgeable recommendations, and prompt service. Your role will be instrumental in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that embodies Lifespace’s commitment to living our purpose and growing together as a team.
In this role, your responsibilities will include warmly acknowledging and greeting every resident and guest with urgency and courtesy, demonstrating your commitment to exceptional customer service. You will possess a thorough knowledge of the local area, including current attractions and events, to offer helpful recommendations and personalized services that enrich the resident experience. Assisting residents and guests with their vehicles, including helping them in and out and managing loading and unloading tasks, will be a regular part of your duties. You will also provide logistical support by delivering packages and groceries to resident living spaces, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Additionally, you will coordinate and direct deliveries and visitors, helping them navigate the community and ensuring appointments and transportation needs are scheduled and communicated effectively. Managing dining room reservations is another key aspect of your role, contributing to seamless and enjoyable dining experiences for all residents. Your role is not just about tasks but about creating memorable, personalized interactions that make residents feel valued and cared for.
At Lifespace, we believe in fostering career growth and team collaboration. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of an organization with over 40 years of success, committed to your personal and professional development. We value a purpose-driven approach, encouraging our team members to live their aspirations while making a tangible difference in the lives of others. By joining our team, you become part of a supportive, dynamic workplace where you can thrive and grow your career while making a meaningful impact through exceptional customer service and community engagement.
