As a full-time, non-management position within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category, this role carries an hourly wage of $34.00 and is eligible for tips. This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately 3 to 4 months.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for attending to various guest requests and assisting with special preparations or services, such as arranging transportation, reservations, or laundry services by liaising with appropriate providers. This position also involves catering to the needs of guests with exceptional requirements and following up to ensure their satisfaction, thus elevating their experience at the hotel.

You will provide guests with comprehensive information about the hotel’s facilities and local area attractions including special events and activities, reflecting an in-depth knowledge of the venue and its neighborhood. Managing incoming calls, messages, and guest inquiries efficiently and professionally will be another key responsibility, ensuring every communication is attended to promptly and directing concerns to the correct departments such as Bell Services or Housekeeping when necessary.

Beyond guest interaction, maintaining operational communication through reviewing employee shift logs and memo books and documenting relevant data is also part of the role. Monitoring the availability of seating, service standards, guest safety, and well-being within the club lounge forms a part of ensuring a seamless hospitality environment.

The role also requires reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions and participating in safety training and certifications, underscoring a commitment to workplace safety standards. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguarding company assets, is essential.

You will be expected to greet and recognize guests with genuine appreciation aligned with the company’s standards, anticipate service needs proactively, and assist guests with disabilities. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, prepare and review documentation accurately, and handle telephone protocols suitably, are fundamental skills for success in this role.

Collaborating positively with team members, supporting common objectives, and responding appropriately to employee concerns contribute to a harmonious work environment that upholds quality assurance expectations.

Physically, the job may require prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as moving, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
