Job Description

This position is within a hospitality-focused residential community management organization that prioritizes providing excellent personalized services and support to its residents. The company has built a strong reputation in the hospitality industry for delivering comprehensive resident assistance and concierge-style services that enhance the living experience. This role is full-time and non-exempt, offering a competitive hourly wage of $16.00. The work schedule is set from Friday to Tuesday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, designed to accommodate the residents' needs during peak times.

The position is a resident services specialist role, responsible for facilitating communication, organizing services, and managing various resident requests with a high level of detail and care. The incumbent will act as a vital link between residents and the available service resources, ensuring personal, social, and logistical needs are met promptly and efficiently. Duties include evaluating and responding to the needs and preferences of residents, handling inquiries, giving directions, scheduling services, and arranging events and appointments such as dining, tours, travel, entertainment, transportation, and medical services. This role demands exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as the specialist must personalize services based on residents' moods and preferences while maintaining strict confidentiality. The ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous learning and networking is also emphasized to improve service delivery.

The role also requires physical abilities such as the capability to lift between 30 to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, walk and climb stairs, and respond quickly to emergency alarms. Supervisory responsibilities are not required for this position. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • completion of college level courses with concentration in business or hospitality is strongly desirable
  • five or more years experience in the hospitality industry
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency in word, excel spreadsheets, and e mail
  • multiple language fluency is desirable
  • strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
