This full-time, non-management position is an exciting opportunity within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations team at The Miami Beach EDITION. The role primarily involves responding to guest requests and ensuring their satisfaction through timely and appropriate arrangements such as transportation, dining reservations, dry cleaning services, and other personalized needs. The position requires a poised, courteous individual capable of handling guest inquiries, coordinating with various hotel departments, and maintaining a professional demeanor that aligns with the hotel’s high standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and providing comprehensive information about property amenities and the surrounding area, including special events and activities, ensuring guests have an enriching experience both inside and outside the resort. Managing guest calls, messages, and concerns with efficiency and professionalism is vital, alongside collaborating with departments such as Bellperson and Housekeeping to promptly address any issues or requests. Maintaining detailed documentation such as shift logs and daily memos plays an essential part in ensuring seamless communication within the team.
In addition, monitoring the club lounge is a key responsibility, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment at all times. The role involves reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions and completing necessary safety training, reflecting the hotel's commitment to the wellbeing of both guests and staff. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Willingness to complete safety training and certifications
- Ability to follow company policies and maintain confidential information

Job Duties
- Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services such as transportation, reservations, dry cleaning
- Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
- Contact appropriate individuals or departments such as Bellperson or Housekeeping to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems
- Review shift logs and daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks
- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
