The role available is a full-time, non-management position within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category. Specifically, the position focuses on engaging guests in the hotel’s lobby area by activating services across various outlets such as the restaurant, bar, front desk, business center, and lounge. This role requires a proactive approach to enhancing the guest experience, responding attentively to special requests whether for transportation, dining reservations, or other personalized services like dry cleaning. The successful candidate will act as a knowledgeable ambassador for both the property and the surrounding local area, offering guests valuable insights about amenities, special events, and activities that enrich their stay.

In this position, the candidate will need to communicate professionally and clearly with guests and internal team members such as housekeeping, bell staff, and food and beverage servers to ensure all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and satisfactorily. The role also involves maintaining high standards of safety by reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions while adhering strictly to company policies. Attentiveness to appearance, confidentiality, and protecting company assets are key components of the daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with luxury hospitality environments and bring at least one year of related experience, complemented by a high school diploma or GED.

  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Engage hotel guests to enhance the service experience through activation of all outlet services within the lobby area
  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers
  • Address special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction
  • Provide guests with local area knowledge about property amenities, special events, and local activities
  • Coordinate with departments such as Bellperson, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage to resolve guest requests or problems
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Follow company policies and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
