As a team member, you will serve as the vital point of contact for resident requests and communications, ensuring that all interactions, except emergency calls, are handled with care and efficiency. This role is pivotal in coordinating an array of services for residents and their families, including dry cleaning, grocery and drug deliveries, transportation, and entertainment reservations. Maintaining extremely high customer service standards is fundamental, as you will be responsible for welcoming new residents and their families, tracking concerns, and collaborating with department managers to address issues promptly.
The position also involves managing the community's transportation schedules, coordinating medical transportation, and ensuring all appointments are confirmed and residents are reminded in advance. Acting as a liaison between the dining room and residents, you will coordinate guest meal reservations and maintain event attendance lists to support community engagement. Supervisory responsibilities may include overseeing front desk reception staff and drivers, as well as providing coverage for Security, Door Attendant, and Receptionist roles when needed. Depending on the community's requirements, you might also be expected to drive company vehicles to social or other destinations.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- successful completion of all Atria specified training programs
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with tens and hundreds
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- problem-solving skills for standardized situations
- ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Duties
- serve as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
- coordinate services for residents and their family members including dry cleaning, grocery and drug store delivery, dinner reservations, beauty parlor services, theater and movie tickets, and transportation
- maintain high standards of customer service including meeting new residents and addressing concerns
- answer questions regarding local stores, attractions and services
- ensure lobby and first floor common areas are clean and welcoming including managing background music and floral arrangements
- coordinate the community's transportation schedule including medical and Engage Life outings transportation
- act as liaison between dining room and residents by managing guest meal reservations and event RSVPs
