Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- Successful completion of all Atria specified training programs
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions
- Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- Able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- Successful completion of all Atria specified training programs
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board, beeper, and photocopier
- Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
Job Duties
- Serves as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
- Coordinates services for residents and their family members such as dry cleaning, grocery delivery, dinner reservations, and transportation
- Maintains high customer service standards including meeting new residents and tracking concerns
- Answers questions about local stores, attractions, and services
- Ensures lobby and common areas are clean, welcoming, and appropriately maintained
- Coordinates the community’s transportation schedule including medical appointments and outings
- Serves as liaison between dining room and residents, managing meal reservations and event RSVPs
- May supervise front desk reception staff and drivers and provide coverage for related roles
- May drive company vehicle to social and other destinations as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
