The Floor Host role is a key position within this professional setting, designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering attentive and proactive service. Working Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:45pm, with a competitive hourly pay of $21.54, the Floor Host is responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of all office floors by supporting meetings, managing workspace utilization, and maintaining the overall appearance of the work environment. This full-time role requires a person who can anticipate needs, address issues swiftly, and enhance the daily experience for meeting organizers, employees, and guests alike.
In this role, the Floor Host provides real-time assistance across the office, starting from confirming the technical and environmental requirements for meetings such as lighting, audio-visual equipment, temperature, and necessary supplies. The host serves as a point of contact during meetings, helping to ensure smooth operations and resetting rooms promptly afterward to maintain readiness for the next use.
Additionally, the Floor Host is tasked with conducting continuous floor inspections to confirm that all areas remain clean, organized, and client-ready. This involves serving as an approachable resource, addressing questions and requests promptly via different communication channels including in-person, email, and phone. The Floor Host needs to anticipate and resolve issues at the earliest point of contact, showcasing problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Managing workspace and meeting rooms is another critical responsibility, supporting a flexible, hoteling-style workplace. The Floor Host monitors the use and attendance of rooms to ensure scheduling accuracy and efficient space utilization. They also reclaim unused meeting spaces to maximize availability, making sure that all reservations are honored with proper room usage.
Operational duties include opening and closing designated work areas and collaborating with facilities teams to report and address maintenance concerns involving furniture, lighting, or carpeting. Ensuring all equipment is safely stored and secured is also part of the role, alongside capturing and reporting data on customer interactions and service delivery for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:45pm
