About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a personable, dynamic, and knowledgeable Concierge to join their Guest Services team. This role is crucial as the Concierge serves as an "impression maker," embodying the Bardo brand and delivering thoughtful, anticipatory service at every guest interaction. The Concierge is responsible for creating highly curated, memorable experiences by connecting guests with local culture, dining, events, and attractions. This position requires confidence, resourcefulness, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with strong local knowledge, able to build rapport with guests to understand their preferences and tailor their stays to exceptional levels. The Concierge is also expected to maintain and foster relationships with local partners and vendors to ensure a seamless integration of the hotel's offerings with the surrounding community. Operating with a proactive approach, the Concierge works closely with other departments to maintain service excellence and elevate guest satisfaction. In addition to offering engaging and personalized recommendations, the Concierge must be adaptable and composed, delivering solutions that meet or exceed guest expectations. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospitality experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • passion for customer service and local culture

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with guests

  • flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • serve as a key point of contact for guest inquiries providing personalized recommendations coordinating reservations and fulfilling both everyday and special requests
  • maintain a strong up-to-date knowledge of local dining events and experiences to offer thoughtful tailored recommendations
  • build rapport with guests to understand their preferences and create meaningful memorable stays
  • develop and maintain relationships with local partners and vendors
  • uphold bardo’s service standards through attention to detail professionalism and a proactive approach to guest needs
  • partner with guest services and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of guest experiences
