With a steadfast focus on enhancing the lives of residents through respectful, dignified support, Viva Senior Living creates a warm and welcoming environment where residents, their families, and visitors feel valued and cared for. The company’s core emphasis lies in maintaining the highest standards of quality care while promoting independence, safety, and well-being among its senior community members. Emphasizing a culture that fosters compassion, respect, and integrity, Viva Senior Living adheres to stringent federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines that ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff.
The Concierge role at Viva Senior Living is essential in supporting the community’s mission by serving as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. This position plays a vital part in establishing a positive atmosphere through professional, courteous, and efficient service. The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, facilitating communications, managing visitor access, and providing information about community services, programs, and activities. By serving as a knowledgeable resource, the Concierge ensures that residents and their families receive personalized and attentive assistance that reflects the company’s commitment to compassionate care.
This full-time position demands an individual capable of working harmoniously with peers while maintaining the utmost compassion and dignity toward residents. The Concierge must uphold the Resident Bill of Rights and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive resident information. The role includes participation in emergency preparedness activities, including evacuations, and adherence to all facility policies and procedures. Working at Viva Senior Living means contributing to an environment of warmth, respect, and positive interaction, where every staff member works collaboratively to enrich the lives of residents.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The Concierge is expected to handle various administrative duties such as answering phones, typing correspondence, sorting and distributing mail, and updating records accurately. The position operates within a framework of strict attendance policies and professional conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Candidates should be prepared for occasional emergency call-backs during situations such as severe weather or staffing shortages.
The role requires a physical and emotional resilience to cope with the demands of a dynamic senior living environment. A keen sense of attention to detail, respect for privacy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service are essential qualities for success in this position. Experience working with elderly populations or in healthcare-related settings is highly advantageous.
This opportunity at Viva Senior Living offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about serving seniors with compassion and professionalism. Joining this community means embracing a role where one's contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of residents and their families, fostering a sense of community and belonging while supporting the standards of excellence that define Viva Senior Living.
