The Concierge position at Ivy Park at Mission Viejo is a part-time role with a pay range of $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. The Concierge serves as a vital first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with the community’s mission and values. The Concierge is responsible not only for greeting visitors but also for efficiently managing multi-line telephone systems, fulfilling resident requests, arranging property tours, and providing vital clerical support to the administrative team. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the Concierge often interacts with residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and staff to ensure seamless daily operations.

The Concierge plays an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, responding immediately to emergency calls, and upholding established safety standards. This role also involves managing the business center and processing incoming and outgoing mail which is essential to community functioning. Teamwork is emphasized through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments to foster a positive work environment. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality setting or senior living community
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • Willingness to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols as required
  • Ability to work part-time shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
  • Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
