The role of Concierge at ZRS Management is pivotal in enhancing the residential experience and maintaining superior customer service standards. This position involves acting as the welcoming face of the community and providing personalized assistance to prospective and current residents. The Concierge is responsible for greeting prospects with a ZRS Management-trained introduction, explaining the comprehensive services available, and fostering strong relationships with residents to promote retention. The Concierge serves as the social director of the community, planning and executing community events and managing communications such as monthly newsletters with the Property Manager’s approval.

This role requires managing the VIP suite and clubroom reservations, maintaining their supplies, and coordinating with local businesses to enhance concierge services. The Concierge supports Leasing Consultants and residents by offering diverse services, including various personal referrals, event arrangements, travel bookings, delivery coordination, and more, ensuring resident needs are met promptly and professionally. The role also includes important administrative duties like assisting with service request callbacks, delivering packages within the community, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing policies.

The ideal candidate should be motivated by teamwork and service excellence, possess strong sales abilities, and be proficient in computer applications pertinent to marketing and community engagement, including social media and email. They should demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with good judgment and professionalism. This position offers a stable 5-day work week with schedules designed to maximize convenience for residents and includes opportunities for continuous learning and development through recommended training seminars. Light travel may be required for such training purposes.

Job Duties

  • Maintain the ZRS MANAGEMENT-trained greeting to all prospective residents with an introduction of services offered by the Concierge
  • Build and maintain a strong rapport with all residents
  • Assist in increasing resident retention by acting as 'Social Director' including planning, implementation, and set up of all community functions
  • Coordinate monthly newsletter with approval of Property Manager
  • Reserve VIP suite and clubroom and stock all necessary goods
  • Maintain a good rapport with local businesses to benefit concierge services and referrals
  • Assist Leasing Consultants and manage service request callbacks
  • Offer diverse services to residents such as referrals, event arrangements, travel organization, delivery and moving assistance, and other personal needs
  • Deliver packages, express mail, floral arrangements to residents
  • Visit competitors and review monthly competitor advertising to understand market conditions
  • Comply with Fair Housing policies for all residents and prospects
  • Participate in industry-related functions and attend recommended training seminars
  • Follow a weekly 5-day schedule as determined by the Property Manager
  • Manage services including ticket arrangements, limousine and taxi reservations, shopping referrals, and cleaning and repair services
  • Handle stressful, urgent situations calmly and professionally
  • Use and apply common sense understanding and good judgment in daily operations
  • Assist in the marketing of the community via internet, email, and social media.
