This includes comprehensive concierge services that provide tailored assistance to residents, facilitating a seamless living experience by managing day-to-day requests and enhancing resident satisfaction.
The Concierge role at AMLI River North is a full-time position requiring a highly professional individual who excels in customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Offering competitive compensation ranging from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, this position requires 40 hours per week on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. The Concierge acts as a vital liaison between residents and various service providers, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to requests while maintaining an expert knowledge of the local area including services, vendors, and community amenities.
Responsibilities include facilitating a broad scope of resident services such as grocery deliveries, vehicle maintenance appointments, dry cleaning pickup and delivery, and technology assistance like TV setup or wall mounting. The Concierge also coordinates transportation needs including airport transfers and rental arrangements. Additionally, the role involves booking reservations for restaurants, events, and game tickets, arranging floral orders, managing vet and kennel accommodations, and overseeing the usage of shared community spaces such as amenities and penthouses.
Beyond logistical support, the Concierge contributes to the community feel by managing package deliveries through systems like Luxer, performing daily audits, developing resident newsletters, and maintaining current contact lists of merchants and service providers. Coordination with onsite property management ensures prompt resolution of resident issues and requests. The Concierge also supports other AMLI communities when necessary and participates in the company’s volunteer and community activities, reinforcing AMLI Residential's commitment to community involvement.
Ideal candidates will possess a High School diploma or GED, with Associate or Bachelor’s degrees preferred, accompanied by a minimum of three years’ customer service experience. Previous concierge or hospitality experience is strongly favored, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research tools. Strong communication skills, a detailed-oriented approach, and solid local knowledge are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, and operation of standard office equipment.

Job Duties
- Build rapport with residents and respond to requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
- Research, coordinate, and schedule resident services including grocery delivery, relocation services, vehicle services (repair, washes, appointments), dry cleaning pickup/delivery, TV setup, wall mounting, and home services
- Make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, events, and game tickets, floral orders, vet, kennel, and travel accommodations
- Manage amenity and penthouse reservations
- Receive and coordinate package deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Manage the Luxer package system including daily audits
- Develop and distribute a daily resident newsletter
- Maintain up-to-date merchant, vendor, and service contact lists
- Coordinate with the onsite property management team to resolve requests and follow up on issues
- Assist with special resident requests as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Participate in AMLI volunteer and community activities
- Support other AMLI communities when needed
