Job Description
Forest Hills Healthcare Center, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a valued member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies. CommuniCare is a family-owned enterprise that has established itself as one of the nation’s largest providers of post-acute care services since its founding in 1984. The company offers comprehensive management and operation of adult living communities, including skilled nursing rehabilitation centers, long-term care centers, assisted living communities, independent rehabilitation centers, and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH). Forest Hills Healthcare Center embodies the organization’s commitment to creating caring communities where staff, residents, clients, and family members support and care for one another deeply and sincerely.
This facility seeks to hire a full-time Concierge for the first shift, offering an hourly wage that ranges from $14 to $19, reflective of experience and qualifications. The role of the Concierge is integral to enriching the lives of residents and their families by providing outstanding customer service and support. The Concierge serves as the initial point of contact for residents, their families, visitors, and healthcare providers, ensuring all requests and needs are promptly addressed and resolved. This position requires a warm, approachable personality combined with professional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple demands effectively.
The Concierge is responsible for welcoming and acknowledging residents according to company standards, anticipating resident needs, and handling any inquiries or special requests with genuine concern and professionalism. This role manages resident requests through established systems, coordinates responses by liaising with appropriate departments, and follows up to ensure resident satisfaction. The Concierge also plays a critical role in admission processes, including conducting visits within four hours of admission and performing follow-ups the day after admission to support new residents' transitions.
Working closely with a diverse healthcare team, the Concierge helps foster a positive, collaborative working environment that supports the overall goals of the healthcare center. In addition to direct customer service roles, the Concierge welcomes and assists physicians by preparing comfortable environments and offering hospitality as necessary. The position expects the employee to maintain business professional attire and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and improve the quality of care provided.
CommuniCare prioritizes the well-being of its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive wages, paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability plans, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and flexible spending accounts. These benefits reflect the company's commitment to supporting its workforce while delivering high-quality care to its residents. Joining Forest Hills Healthcare Center means becoming part of a compassionate team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others through attentive and heartfelt service.
