Job Requirements

Ability to multitask using telephones and computers while interacting with guests
Quick thinking ability to provide clear and concise recommendations and directions
Knowledge of local Charleston area attractions, activities, and services
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, or bend for 30 percent of the shift
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

College degree preferred with emphasis on hospitality or travel and tourism
Knowledge of Charleston’s food and beverage scene, area attractions, and local history preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and think quickly to provide accurate information
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Commitment to delivering excellent guest service

Job Duties

Create an atmosphere around the lobby desk that welcomes guests
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow employees to satisfy personal service needs
Develop and maintain a true sense of community connection within the local Charleston area
Follow and support the company’s mission statement and core values
Use telephones and computers to multitask while interacting with guests
Provide clear, concise recommendations and directions for walking, driving, and verbal inquiries
Refer and recommend a wide variety of activities, services, and local information about Charleston
