Job Description

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is Idaho's leading full-service retirement community dedicated to providing a vibrant and supportive living environment for active adults. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the community offers both single-family and apartment homes alongside a full range of services that cater to every stage of aging. From independent living to assisted living and memory care, Touchmark ensures that residents receive personalized support tailored to their unique needs. With luxurious amenities such as restaurant-style dining, lounge and entertaining spaces, a scenic park featuring a 9-hole golf course, a fully equipped theater, and a Health & Fitness Club including an indoor pool and hot tub, residents enjoy a fulfilling and enriched lifestyle.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our dedicated Front Desk team as a part-time Front Desk team member. The position offers an hourly wage of $18 and requires commitment to hospitality and customer service excellence. As a Front Desk team member at Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth communication across various departments. The role involves answering phone calls promptly, serving as a first responder and a liaison between emergency personnel and residents, and coordinating communication among residents, staff, and visitors. This busy and dynamic role demands the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.

The scheduling for this role includes shifts on Friday from 7am to 4pm and Saturday from 7am to 7pm, with the flexibility to be on call covering day and night shifts as needed. Willingness to work weekends and holidays when scheduled is essential. The ideal candidate is someone who is deeply committed to delivering 100% customer satisfaction, possesses a friendly and tactful demeanor, and can handle the fast-paced environment of our retirement community. Candidates should have at least two years of experience working as a receptionist or concierge in a busy setting, preferably within the hospitality industry such as hotels, where multi-tasking skills and excellent customer service are paramount.

In addition to customer interaction, the role requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment. The physical scope of the campus requires the Front Desk team member to be able to move quickly across the property when necessary. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory as the position involves operating Touchmark vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, integrity, hospitality, compassion, and excellence, and who wants to contribute meaningfully to creating a positive living experience for seniors and their families.
