Job Description
Fellowship Square is a well-established nonprofit senior care community dedicated to providing affordable and quality housing to seniors. With over 40 years of experience in senior care, this faith-driven organization focuses on enhancing the quality of life and promoting the independence of its residents. As a Christian Care Community, Fellowship Square places great emphasis on creating a warm, family-like environment where residents feel valued and respected. The organization prioritizes dignity, compassion, and inclusivity, making it an outstanding place for both residents and employees who are passionate about serving older adults. It is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a respectful workplace for all individuals regardless of race, religion, or other protected statuses.
The role of Concierge at Fellowship Square is both impactful and essential, serving as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and staff. This position directly supports the community’s mission by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality. The Concierge is responsible for managing front desk operations, assisting residents with inquiries and requests, coordinating communication between departments, and maintaining important documentation and administrative tasks. These responsibilities demand strong organizational skills, proficiency with software tools like Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Canva, and an approachable demeanor bolstered by effective communication abilities.
This is a part-time role with a schedule primarily over the weekend, from 9am to 4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, offering a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to senior care over key periods. The starting pay rate is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications, with additional benefit options available. Benefits include access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 403b matched retirement plan, daily pay options, and a significant life insurance benefit.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of customer service experience, preferably within housing, hospitality, or healthcare services related to seniors. Physical capability to handle occasional demands and the flexibility to work independently during busy times are critical. The successful Concierge will be professional, patient, and calm under pressure, demonstrating a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults. By joining Fellowship Square, candidates will be part of a mission-oriented team that values faith, professional growth, and leadership development within a supportive and inclusive Christian environment.
