The role of a Concierge at CBRE is a vital position within the Workplace Experience function, serving as the primary point of contact for everyone entering the facility. The Concierge manages a high-touch service environment, expertly handling complex reservations, local recommendations, and transportation logistics while proactively supporting workplace operations such as coordinating meeting rooms and assisting with event execution. This role demands an individual capable of providing world-class customer service to clients, guests, and tenants, assisting with both personal and business needs. Responsibilities include scheduling transportation services, making reservations for dining and recreational activities, maintaining a database of local business recommendations, and ensuring the safety of all individuals in the building by following property-specific security and emergency procedures. The Concierge must also respond promptly to requests, resolve complex problems efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor that reflects CBRE's RISE values. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate complex or sensitive information clearly. Employment with CBRE as a Concierge offers competitive pay within the range of $25 to $28 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. The position requires authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Benefits commence from the first of the month and include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of five plus years of Concierge or job-related experience
  • Proficient communication and client services experience
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information

  • Background in hospitality, administration, or customer service is a plus
  • Proficient communication and client services experience
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset

Job Duties

  • Be the first point of contact for all those entering the facility
  • Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Record and log service requests and track the statuses
  • Provide administrative aid to management as needed
  • Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of the requestor
  • Respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Deliver world-class customer service to all individuals in the facility
  • Encourage guests and tenants to refer personal and business associates to the location
  • Build and maintain a database of local business recommendations including preferred transportation sources, dining, and entertainment
  • Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures
  • Notify appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building
  • Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Provide solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives
  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives
  • Have a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values
  • Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures
