As a senior living community, the focus is on promoting well-being and engagement among its residents, which requires a professional and attentive team to support daily operations. This includes administrative staff who handle inquiries, organize tours, and assist residents and visitors. Their mission is supported by a team that values teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
The role of Concierge is a vital position within this community. Reporting directly to the Business Office Manager, the Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors and residents alike, shaping the initial impression of the community. This role demands a high level of professionalism, patience, and effective communication skills to handle interactions with residents, family members, staff, and external visitors.
In addition to front desk duties, the Concierge plays a supportive role in the property's marketing efforts by creating positive and friendly interactions that encourage a welcoming community atmosphere. The Concierge also maintains the reception area to ensure it is neat, orderly, and stocked with current informational literature and refreshments.
Physical requirements for the role include the ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, push, bend, squat, and climb stairs regularly. The role also requires sensory capabilities such as clear vision, hearing, and strong command of the English language to properly manage communications and safety-related alerts.
Overall, this position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys engaging with people, is organized, and takes pride in contributing to a supportive and pleasant environment for seniors.
