With a workforce of 355,000 employees and over 150,000 clients, Securitas has established itself as a trusted partner for organizations seeking top-tier security services. The company is committed to a culture that is defined by its core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, which guide all actions and decisions across its many operations worldwide. These values are symbolized by the three red dots in the Securitas logo, representing the company's dedication to ethical behavior, constant alertness, and supportive service. Every employee at Securitas contributes to maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, reflecting the company’s purpose of protecting people and assets with professionalism and care.
The Concierge Officer role at Securitas is a crucial, public-facing position that blends security responsibilities with exceptional customer service. Serving as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and vendors entering a building, the Concierge Officer plays an integral part in maintaining access control and a secure atmosphere. The position requires a high level of professionalism, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills to efficiently manage building entry protocols while delivering friendly and effective assistance to individuals on site.
This position involves monitoring access to the premises, verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate records related to building occupancy and deliveries. Additionally, Concierge Officers actively engage in security monitoring duties, which include observing CCTV footage, responding to alarms, conducting patrols, and reporting any suspicious activity. They are trained to respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms or medical incidents, and they provide first aid and CPR as necessary. Administrative responsibilities complement the role, including logging incidents, preparing reports, and assisting with other tasks as required. Policy enforcement is another critical aspect, where officers ensure compliance with building rules and address violations courteously.
Ideal candidates for this role may come from backgrounds such as receptionist, hospitality, or retail sectors and do not necessarily need prior security experience; training is provided. This position offers flexibility with scheduling and weekly pay, supported by competitive benefits. The position is designed to be accessible to motivated individuals with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality who wish to build a career in security while delivering excellent customer service. Securitas welcomes all applicants and is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace, ensuring fair treatment for all candidates.
