The community in Napa, California, represents this commitment by fostering a respectful, compassionate atmosphere that blends professional caregiving with a vibrant social setting for residents.
The role of Concierge at Aegis of Napa is an integral position within this supportive environment. This is a part-time opportunity with a consistent schedule, specifically from Thursday to Saturday, 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents, families, guests, and employees, offering outstanding customer service. Beyond greeting and directing visitors, the Concierge manages the front desk operations and handles incoming communications, ensuring seamless interactions throughout the community.
This position requires a blend of hospitality skills, organizational ability, and empathetic communication. The Concierge coordinates medical appointments and family outings by collaborating with the Care and Nursing staff while supporting the Marketing Department and Office Manager to maintain smooth operational flow. Familiarity with the community layout and the roles of the employees is essential to effectively guide and assist all parties.
Aegis Living places strong emphasis on employee growth and satisfaction. This role offers defined opportunities for career advancement within a company that values flexibility and work-life balance. Benefits such as vacation and sick pay, appreciation days, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K retirement plan, are part of the comprehensive package provided to eligible employees.
Candidates for this role are expected to bring a compassionate and positive attitude, with the ability to remain composed and think clearly in stressful situations. Prior experience in customer-facing roles, particularly as a receptionist, concierge, or in a supervisory capacity, is preferred. Sensitivity to the needs of residents and the ability to build positive relationships are instrumental to success in this role. Candidates must also be willing to undergo a TB test as part of the employment requirements.
Overall, the Concierge position at Aegis of Napa offers a meaningful career path for individuals passionate about serving seniors and contributing to a dynamic, caring community. With a competitive hourly wage of $19.00 and a schedule designed for consistency, this role is ideal for those seeking both professional fulfillment and work-life balance in the senior living industry.
