As a Concierge at Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will be the welcoming face of the facility, acting as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, staff, and vendors. This critical role entails managing incoming calls professionally, providing information and assistance, and handling various clerical duties. You will greet potential residents, their families, and guests with warmth and professionalism, helping ensure that every interaction contributes positively to the overall environment. Your communication skills will be essential as you manage external and internal calls, relay messages accurately, and assist in facilitating smooth operations throughout the facility.
In this role, you will contribute significantly to the resident experience by embodying excellent customer service and demonstrating an exceptional presence and attitude. The position calls for an individual who can work effectively in a dynamic healthcare setting, balancing multiple demands while maintaining composure and responsiveness. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and active CNA license in RI strongly preferred
- Previous experience in customer service-related field
- Experience in healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in RI strongly preferred
- Previous experience in customer service-related field required
- Experience in healthcare setting required
- Exceptionally strong customer service orientation, presence and perspective
- Knowledge of customer service strategies and tactics
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and phone etiquette
- Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously
- Ability to deal with people of varying personalities and temperaments
- Ability to take initiative to resolve immediate problems
Job Duties
- Answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests and vendors
- Performing a variety of clerical duties as assigned
- Greeting potential residents, families, visitors
- Managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages
