Job Description

BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union) stands as one of the largest credit unions in the United States, proudly serving over 1.5 million members and managing assets exceeding $30 billion. Since its establishment in 1935, BECU has built its reputation on a "people helping people" philosophy, emphasizing a deep commitment to supporting members, communities, and employees alike. As a not-for-profit financial institution, BECU prioritizes the needs and financial well-being of its members over profiting, ensuring personalized service and innovative financial solutions that cater to a diverse member base. The institution continues to evolve, blending a rich heritage with forward-looking business and technology transformations, creating a dynamic environment where employees can thrive and grow.

BECU is currently seeking to expand its team with the addition of a Concierge, a vital full-time position within the organization. This role is centered on delivering an exceptional member experience, serving as the welcoming face and primary point of contact for members entering the branch. The Concierge plays a critical role in guiding members through their financial journey by connecting them to the appropriate services, resources, and team members. The position demands a warm, approachable demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The role offers a target pay range of $21.78 to $26.63 hourly, with a full pay range up to $31.44 hourly, reflecting BECU's commitment to fair and equitable compensation based on skills, experience, and education. Compensation incentives are also available, performance-based and varying by role.

Beyond salary, BECU offers numerous benefits that highlight their dedication to employee well-being, including a 401(k) company match up to 3%, a 4% annual contribution to your 401(k), comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage even extending to family members, a paid time off program with an option to exchange PTO, tuition reimbursement, and dedicated volunteer time off with a donation match program. Training for this position will occur at BECU's Tukwila Financial Center and Federal Way Crossings Financial Center, requiring reliable transportation to these locations. The Concierge position involves a flexible work schedule with core training hours Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM and a rotating Saturday schedule.

The Concierge at BECU is more than just a customer service role; it represents an opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven organization where the work directly impacts members' financial lives. The position requires managing member flow efficiently, coordinating appointments, maintaining welcoming and organized member spaces, and empowering members with knowledge about BECU's digital tools and services. This role not only supports members but also fuels BECU's ongoing journey of innovation and excellence. For individuals eager to contribute in a collaborative and innovative environment and grow their careers within a respected financial institution, the Concierge role at BECU represents an excellent opportunity to join a committed team that values its people and their development.
