Job Description
Waltonwood is a leading provider of senior living communities dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents through exceptional care, support, and hospitality. Waltonwood communities offer a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment where seniors can enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle. With multiple locations offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, Waltonwood is committed to creating a vibrant community atmosphere where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. The organization places a strong emphasis on teamwork, positive communication, and consistent high-quality service to meet the diverse needs of its community members. Waltonwood’s Administrative Department serves as the backbone of each community, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining a high standard of resident satisfaction and safety. This team works collaboratively across departments to solve problems, advocate for residents, and foster a positive living environment.
The role of a Concierge at Waltonwood is vital to shaping the first and last impression residents, visitors, and staff have of the community. As the frontline representatives, Concierges provide outstanding customer service and administrative support, greeting residents and guests warmly and professionally, answering multiple phone lines efficiently, and handling inquiries with care and accuracy. This position reports directly to the Business Office Manager and is a key part of the Administrative team. Concierges play a crucial role in maintaining the community’s comfort, security, and operation by applying safety, security, and emergency procedures conscientiously. Additionally, they maintain organized records, liaise closely with department heads and the executive office, and perform light housekeeping to keep the front desk attractive and welcoming.
Working between the Independent Living and Assisted Living communities primarily during day shifts, this position demands flexibility in scheduling and the ability to cover open shifts when necessary. Waltonwood values punctuality, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset; associates are expected to be dependable, willing to help colleagues, and committed to fostering a sense of home for new residents and team members alike. The Concierge position is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of senior residents by providing compassionate service, creating lasting connections, and contributing to a supportive community environment where all feel welcome and cared for. This is a part-time role with shift options generally running from 6am to 2pm or 8am to 4:30pm, offering a balanced schedule for individuals seeking to join a dynamic team dedicated to excellent senior living care.
