Job Description

Havenwood of Burnsville is a prominent senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enriching experiences for some of the wisest and most cherished members of society - seniors. Known for its commitment to quality and compassionate service, Havenwood of Burnsville creates a warm, inviting environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to live vibrant lives. The company places a strong emphasis on fostering an extraordinary culture within its team, recognizing that the dedication and well-being of employees directly impact the level of care delivered. Investing in its workforce is a core value, ensuring that each team member has opportunities for growth, development, and meaningful engagement in their roles. This investment extends beyond a typical job, inviting employees to be part of an extraordinary life and to contribute to building a thriving community centered on senior living excellence.

The role of Concierge at Havenwood of Burnsville is hospitality-focused and is integral to the welcoming atmosphere of the community. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers, representing the face of the community with warmth and professionalism. A Concierge in this vibrant setting ensures that every visitor feels personally greeted and appreciated, embodying a commitment to hospitality promises such as courteous respect, attentive service, and high levels of professionalism. The Concierge is expected to manage telephone communications efficiently, solve issues promptly with empathy and effectiveness, and maintain detailed records of deliveries and service requests. Given the nature of the role, dependable and flexible scheduling is critical; the team member will work on a rotating schedule of shifts covering mornings and evenings including every other Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with opportunities for additional hours to support the front desk as needed. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience level.

This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about senior care, hospitality, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products to support daily operations. The Concierge also assists with administrative projects as assigned by the Business Office Manager and ensures that both organizational objectives and individual needs are addressed with care and professionalism. At Havenwood of Burnsville, the Concierge is more than just a role; it is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful community where every day brings a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors and those around them. Prospective candidates who resonate with the company’s hospitality promises — greeting people warmly, treating everyone with respect, anticipating needs, listening and responding enthusiastically, maintaining accountability, valuing differences, and always paying attention to details — will find this role rewarding and fulfilling. Havenwood of Burnsville is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer that values diversity and inclusion in its workforce.
