OVG's portfolio includes seven world-class owned venues and an impressive client roster consisting of iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions spanning four continents. With its extensive reach and innovative approach, OVG is dedicated to delivering unmatched live entertainment experiences worldwide.
At Missouri State University, Oak View Group serves as the principal Food and Beverage partner for several athletic and entertainment facilities, including Plaster Stadium, Great Southern Bank Arena, Juanita K. Hammons Hall, Hammons Student Center, and Betty and Bobby Allison Soccer Stadium. The university's partnership with OVG brings an outstanding concessions experience to guests attending sporting and live events. The concessions worker position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking part-time employment, an additional source of income, or a dynamic and fast-paced work atmosphere.
The Concessions Worker role is integral to the provision of excellent customer service at these venues. This position involves preparing and serving concession items, including food and beverages, to guests. The role requires handling cash transactions efficiently, ensuring high standards of food presentation, and maintaining excellent attendance according to company policy. Workers are responsible for operating a cash register, taking and building orders, serving beverages, and adhering to health, sanitation, and safety standards in a highly active environment. This position is tip eligible and pays an hourly rate of $15.00.
Working as a concessions worker at OVG allows individuals to gain valuable experience in the food service industry, develop cash handling skills, and engage with a diverse customer base. The environment is collaborative and supportive, promoting excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude among co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests. This role requires flexibility, as it demands availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the varying schedules of live events.
Oak View Group places a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, viewing these principles as vital drivers of innovation, service quality, and operational excellence. OVG is committed to creating an inclusive workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities it serves. The company fosters an environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute to the organization's collective success. Equal employment opportunity is a cornerstone of OVG’s hiring approach, underscoring their commitment to non-discrimination based on legally protected categories such as veteran status, race, religion, gender, age, disability, and more.
Benefits for part-time roles include access to a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, enhancing the financial security of employees even in part-time capacities. The position remains open until August 14, 2026, offering ample opportunity to join the team and build a rewarding role within a leading company in the live entertainment sector. This role suits individuals who enjoy engaging with people, thrive in bustling settings, and seek a chance to be part of memorable audience experiences at Missouri State University’s premier venues.
