This job opportunity is for the position of Concessions Worker, a vital role in delivering high-quality customer service within OVG’s venues. The Concessions Worker is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages at all concession stands, ensuring top-notch food quality and presentation. Payment processing and customer interaction are also essential components of the role. This position requires flexibility regarding working hours, with availability for variable schedules that include evenings and weekends. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $14.00 to $16.00, with additional tip income, making it an attractive position for individuals seeking competitive pay in a dynamic environment.

As a Concessions Worker with Oak View Group, you will be the face of the food and beverage service for guests attending events at renowned global venues. You will greet guests warmly and professionally, take accurate customer orders, prepare and assemble food and beverage items, and ensure orders are delivered promptly. Your responsibilities also include maintaining the concession stand’s cleanliness, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations, and responsibly serving alcoholic beverages in compliance with legal requirements. Working safely with concession equipment such as beverage dispensers, popcorn machines, and point-of-sale systems is also a key duty.

This role demands excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and maintaining organized and sanitary workstations throughout each shift. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • active or willing to obtain State Food Handlers Certification
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • strong communication skills
  • previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
  • take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
  • process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions in accordance with company policies
  • assemble and prepare food and beverage orders according to established quality and presentation standards
  • deliver orders promptly and accurately to ensure guest satisfaction
  • listen and respond appropriately to guest requests, questions, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues to a supervisor when necessary
  • maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, clients, co-workers, and management
  • prepare, package, and serve food and beverage items in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • maintain working knowledge of all concession menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
  • operate concession equipment safely and efficiently, including beverage dispensers, food warmers, popcorn machines, and point-of-sale systems
  • serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and in compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations
  • verify guest identification to confirm legal age requirements prior to the sale or service of alcoholic beverages
  • monitor inventory levels and ensure concession stands remain fully stocked throughout each shift
  • restock food products, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed
  • communicate low inventory levels, product shortages, and supply needs to the Concessions Supervisor in a timely manner
  • assist with receiving, organizing, and storing inventory according to company procedures
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
  • clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, counters, and serving areas throughout the shift
  • properly dispose of trash and recycling and assist with dishwashing duties as required
  • ensure food products are stored correctly and in compliance with food safety regulations
  • sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and work areas at the conclusion of each shift
  • restock and organize workstations and display areas to prepare for the next shift
  • complete assigned opening, operating, and closing duties according to established procedures
  • verify that all equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and properly secured at the end of the shift
  • conduct a final inspection of the concession area to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met
  • check out with the direct supervisor and/or management before leaving to confirm all duties have been completed and concession areas meet company cleanliness and service standards
