Founded over a century ago, this family-owned business has built a legacy of providing exceptional experiences to guests in diverse settings, including iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and more. At Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Delaware North has been the trusted partner since 2010, managing food and beverage operations at the 39,504-seat home stadium of the Minnesota Twins. The company is committed to creating memorable moments for visitors by offering a broad array of food options that range from chef-attended action stations and carving stations to fan-favorite ballpark treats. Delaware North takes pride not only in delivering outstanding service to customers but also in fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for its team members. With career opportunities spanning part-time and full-time roles in various hospitality sectors, the company empowers employees to grow and develop professionally within a global enterprise that values diversity and equal opportunity. The position available is for a seasonal Concessions Supervisor at Target Field, designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment and have a passion for leadership and guest service. This role is hourly, offering a competitive wage of $18.50 per hour. As a Concessions Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting a team of concession staff during game days and events. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the daily operations within assigned concession locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through effective leadership, quality service, and adherence to safety standards. This hands-on position requires active participation in service tasks such as assisting guests, monitoring inventory, stocking supplies, and operating cashier functions as needed. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve customer complaints related to food quality or service to maintain high standards. The role demands strong organizational skills to assign staff duties appropriately and verify proper setup and shutdown procedures at various locations. Collaboration is crucial, as you will assist the Concessions Manager with staff training, policy communication, and compliance with operational guidelines. The work setting is dynamic and fast-paced, often involving outdoor conditions and variable temperatures depending on the season. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motions, and occasional lifting of stock items up to 50 pounds. The position requires availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and game days. Delaware North offers comprehensive benefits for eligible team members, including health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid vacation and holidays; parental bonding leave; employee assistance programs; and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. Other perks encompass weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training and career advancement. By joining Delaware North as a Concessions Supervisor, you will become part of a respected team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest service within a vibrant sports setting, while advancing your career in the hospitality industry.
