The Concessions Supervisor role at Sodexo involves overseeing concessions operations within high-volume, fast-paced event settings such as Highmark Stadium. This full-time position requires flexible availability with varying shifts and pays $18.00 per hour. The supervisor will have direct leadership responsibility during events for concession stands, kiosks, portable units, and autonomous retail locations, ensuring efficient service, compliance with operational and safety standards, and an outstanding guest experience.
In this supervisory role, you will be the key link between frontline concession teams and upper management, managing staffing schedules, optimizing service flow, monitoring inventory, and resolving issues as they arise. You will conduct pre-shift briefings to align the team on service expectations, menu offerings, and safety protocols, guiding the team to deliver quality service consistently. Your ability to manage diverse concession formats while maintaining operational standards and safety will directly impact customer satisfaction at large-scale events.
This position demands strong organizational skills and leadership presence to maintain speed of service, safety, and cleanliness across all assigned concession locations. You may need to lift and move up to 40 pounds occasionally, reflecting the physical demands of the role. Job Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience required
- minimum of 2-4 years of experience in concessions food service or event-based operations required
- prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales based on local and state regulations
- must maintain a valid TIPS TEAM or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
- food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee concession stands kiosks portable locations and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable
- assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs
- conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations menus service standards and assignments
- address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management as needed
- support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads
- frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
