The Concessions Stand Lead at Legends Global plays a vital role in the seamless operation of assigned concession stands within venue events. This leadership position entails complete responsibility for managing the daily operations, training personnel, supervising staff activities, and ensuring adherence to all company standards and Pennsylvania's RAMP regulations. Reporting directly to the Concessions Supervisor, the Stand Lead is expected to coordinate activities such as stand setup, closing, inventory management, transaction accuracy, and maintenance of cleanliness and organization. This role demands a hands-on approach with the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly while maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Beyond operational oversight, the Concessions Stand Lead is tasked with instructing team members to deliver service excellence consistently. Monitoring cash handling, inventory discrepancies, and paperwork completion accurately are critical facets of this role. The Stand Lead is also responsible for enforcing safety policies and ensuring compliance with health and alcoholic beverage service regulations. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience in food service or concession stand operations
- Ability to supervise and train personnel effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Physical ability to lift and move inventory up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Compliance with state and local health regulations for food handling and alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience as a stand attendant or other food service worker is necessary
- Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
- Must be able to handle cash and inventory efficiently
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- Must be able to work fluently in English
- Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
- Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services
Job Duties
- Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers
- Assigns duties within the stand
- Analyzes and resolves all problems with the assistance of Concession Supervisor and/or other management
- Oversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing procedures
- Ensures that all work stations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked
- Order replacement stock as necessary
- Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork
- Investigates discrepancies in money and inventory
- Ensures accuracy of location bank, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and meals on an event basis
- Ensures accurate transaction totals on a random basis for all cashiers
- Keeps a quality appearance of the concession location at all times
- Works with other stand personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for next event at closing
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
