The Concessions Stand Lead position at Sodexo, located at Hard Rock Stadium, offers a part-time role that requires flexible and open availability, with varying shifts. The pay range for this position is between $16 and $18 per hour. This role is integral to the smooth operation of concession stands during events and requires leadership, operational management, and customer service skills. The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for directing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring efficient operations during peak periods. Collaboration with the Concessions Supervisor is essential, as is a focus on service speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance. This position entails active involvement in daily stand operations, serving as the primary contact for the concession team on-site. Key responsibilities include managing staff during busy times, addressing guest concerns, and supporting onboarding and training. Physical requirements include the ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of concessions, food service, or customer service experience required
  • Prior lead experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to lead alcohol service based on local and state regulations
  • Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
  • A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve as the on-stand lead for assigned concession locations during events
  • Provide guidance and support to staff during peak service periods
  • Address basic guest concerns and escalate issues to the Concessions Supervisor when appropriate
  • Communicate operational needs, staffing issues, or supply shortages to leadership
  • Support onboarding and training of concession staff
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
