Job Description
Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is seeking seasonal Concessions Stand Attendants to join our team at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. Delaware North is a family-owned global hospitality company with over 100 years of history, known for operating concessions, premium dining, retail, and restaurants at iconic venues such as Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. With operations that span the globe, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing rewarding career opportunities to our employees. As part of our team, you become part of a legacy that values growth, diversity, and inclusion while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
The role of a Concessions Stand Attendant is seasonal and primarily involves preparing and serving concession items during events held at Busch Stadium. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a team that strives to deliver excellent service. The job offers an hourly wage of $13.00, with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips, making it an attractive option for those seeking flexible seasonal employment. The role requires constant interaction with guests, ensuring that their needs are met with friendly and knowledgeable service while adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
As a Concessions Stand Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting guests, communicating available food and beverage options, and answering any questions they may have. You will serve various food and beverage items, following proper sanitation procedures and responsible alcohol service policies where applicable. The position also includes responsibilities such as participating in kiosk set-up, arranging inventory efficiently, and notifying the stand lead of any stock shortages to maintain a smooth operation during busy event times. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment cleaning, is an important part of the role to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Occasionally, attendants may need to lift stock items weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment varies seasonally and may include narrow spaces or varying temperature conditions. The shifts are scheduled during days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and events, requiring flexibility and commitment to meet the demands of the bustling stadium atmosphere.
Delaware North is committed to the personal and professional well-being of its team members. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Eligible team members may also receive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. Joining our team means not only gaining valuable work experience but also enjoying the benefits of working in a globally recognized hospitality company dedicated to supporting your career growth and success.
