The role of Concessions Manager at Legends Global involves overseeing the day-to-day management of food and beverage concessions to ensure an exceptional guest experience, adherence to safety standards, and achieving financial targets. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong background in food and beverage leadership, who excels in operational execution and delivering performance results. This role entails managing all aspects of concessions from inventory and menu management to staff supervision and customer service, ensuring all operations comply with safety and sanitation regulations. The Concessions Manager must also work closely with other departments to execute promotional initiatives and maintain high standards across all concession outlets.

Operating onsite at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, CA, this position offers a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $77,000 based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan. The successful candidate will be adept at supervising and training concession teams, enforcing responsible alcohol service policies, maintaining inventory controls, and producing necessary operational reports in a timely manner. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to build strong client and guest relationships and a passion for hospitality and retail environments.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a hospitality or retail environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred but not required
  • Strong computer skills and experience with POS systems
  • Solid understanding of financial and operational concepts
  • Ability to manage teams and enforce safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work onsite at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, CA

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management is preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Job Duties

  • Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
  • Ensure all concession areas have proper displays
  • Executes all safety and sanitation standards
  • Provides operational planning to ensure appropriate scheduling levels are met, as well as products ordered to service each concession event
  • Builds and maintains respectful relationships with clients and guests
  • Responds and assists in any departmental guest service issues
  • Executes all menus and promotions as outlined by the Director of Operations/Director of Concession
  • Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
  • Effectively verifies all opening and closing inventories
  • Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing
  • Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and ready for operation
  • Ensures on-site training of the current POS system and concession equipment
  • Other responsibilities, as needed
