The role of Concessions Lead at Oak View Group involves overseeing food and beverage services at various ballpark concessions including stands, bars, and portable locations during events. As a Concessions Lead, you will work closely with the Concessions Manager and the broader OVG leadership team, assisting with projects such as employee training, inventory control, and special event support. This is a part-time role with an hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, offering a 401(k) savings plan and matching benefits. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
- valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required

Job Duties
- Ensure proper setup of all concession locations prior to doors
- provide oversight and operational expertise for smooth and profitable event execution
- train new and current employees on procedures and best practices
- cover or back up any open position to maintain operational standards
- assist with Premium Services operations and event needs
- ensure a safe, harassment-free work environment
- address safety concerns and relay issues promptly
- provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to staff and volunteers
- promote a positive and cooperative workplace by working side-by-side with staff
- reinforce procedures through repetition and constructive feedback
- obtain knowledge of all concession locations and equipment
- supervise beverage service including alcoholic beverages
- verify guest ID for alcohol purchase
- assist with order intake and POS system use
- observe guests for additional requests and meal completion
- compute meal costs and present checks
- recommend dishes and explain menu items
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- demonstrate excellent attendance
- ensure location equipment is operable and clean
- cut off alcohol service to visibly intoxicated guests
- enforce company policies and procedures
- practice excellent HR skills including employee relations and coaching
- assist management with training, inventory, and special events
- perform other duties as assigned
