As a Grill Cook, the employee is responsible for cooking a variety of foods on grills and fryers, following stringent production guidelines and standardized recipes to ensure quality and safety. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring food safety compliance throughout events. Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • experience as a cook in a related field or environment
  • ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent required, will be trained upon hire as needed
  • basic math and counting skills
  • requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25lbs
  • willingness to accept change and new procedures
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to unforeseen changes
  • ability to work independently with limited supervision

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older

  • TEAM/ServSafe certification preferred but will be trained upon hire as needed

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items as needed
  • operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
  • bakes, roasts, broils, steams, grills, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
  • arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
  • ensures compliance with food temps and documentation throughout event
  • cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils as per guidelines and policies
  • ensures clear and concise communication with stand leads, stand workers and cashiers
  • maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • ensures security of company assets
  • accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership
