Delaware North's commitment to quality service and innovation has helped it build a strong reputation, serving millions of guests annually in stadiums, national parks, casinos, and other iconic locations. The company values its employees and invests heavily in their personal and professional growth, offering numerous development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Currently, Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Concessions Cooks to join their team at the upcoming Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. Nu Stadium is poised to be a state-of-the-art soccer stadium and entertainment destination, officially opening in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. This venue will host world-class soccer matches, concerts, and various live entertainment events year-round, making it an exciting place to work for those passionate about sports and hospitality.
As a Concessions Cook, you will play an essential role in preparing food and beverage products for guests, ensuring that all items meet quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals starting their cooking career or those wanting to enhance their culinary knowledge and grow within the company. Working at Delaware North offers you the opportunity to receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members, facilitating your growth and success in the hospitality industry.
The pay for this role is set at $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to providing competitive wages for its employees. The position includes flexible work schedules, with shifts available during days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and special event times, providing flexibility to accommodate various lifestyles. Delaware North understands the demands of the hospitality sector and strives to create a supportive environment with work-life balance.
The role involves following supervisor's instructions for kitchen opening and closing procedures, setting up and operating kitchen equipment safely, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace. Adherence to correct food preparation and sanitation guidelines is critical to ensure guest satisfaction and regulatory compliance. While no prior experience or diploma is required, the position demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and basic math skills. Physical stamina is necessary as the job requires standing for extended periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 pounds or more, and working in variable temperature conditions.
Delaware North is also proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of its employees. This includes weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and a range of health benefits such as dental, vision, and health insurance. Eligible team members can access 401(k) plans with company matching, paid vacation days, paid holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. These benefits enhance employee satisfaction and career advancement prospects.
Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy and a family-owned business that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status. Working at Delaware North not only offers a job but a chance to be part of a dynamic team that shapes the future of hospitality, bringing great times to great places.
