This opportunity is for a Concessions Cashier position at the Orange County Convention Center, representing Sodexo's on-call part-time team. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour, designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, event-driven environments with varying shifts and open availability preferred. This position involves supporting high-volume, event-based concession operations, requiring fast, accurate, and guest-focused transaction support at various concession locations. These environments include traditional concession stands, grab-and-go locations, as well as autonomous retail concepts. Working as a Concessions Cashier at Sodexo differs from traditional cashier roles in that it requires adaptability to fluctuating demand, managing large crowds effectively, and meeting time-sensitive service expectations within live event settings.

The Concessions Cashier will handle a range of duties such as managing cash and payment devices with strict security, assisting with product stocking and rotation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the concession areas. The role demands physical stamina including the ability to frequently lift and move items up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
