This particular role involves serving as a Bartender at Levy, where the primary responsibility is to prepare and serve beverages in a dynamic and high-energy bar environment. Bartenders at Levy play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering beverages promptly and courteously, adhering strictly to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a valid TABC license, ensuring compliance when serving alcoholic beverages, especially in regards to age restrictions and monitoring guest intoxication.
The position requires setting up and maintaining a fully stocked bar area with all necessary supplies such as beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other perishables. Bartenders must skillfully mix and present drinks using standard recipes and demonstrate strong portion control. Beyond drink service, bartenders are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, washing and sterilizing glassware, and securing all beverage products and cash deposits appropriately.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid TABC license
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to handle cash and make change accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Must have a valid TABC license
- Sets up assigned bars
- requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks
- mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes

- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
