One of its key operational sites includes Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, which is the home stadium of the Texas Rangers baseball team. Since the park opened in 2020, Delaware North has been responsible for managing concessions, suites, catering, premium dining, and retail services within this impressive 40,300-seat stadium. The venue is notable not only for its iconic status in the sports world but also for providing diverse food options including classic stadium fare and an ample supply of vegan selections, ensuring a broad appeal to all guests attending events there.

Delaware North is a family-owned company with over 100 years of history, making it a global legacy in the hospitality industry. Their operations extend worldwide, offering unique chances for career advancement and personal growth. The company prides itself on being an inclusive and supportive workplace, dedicated to providing great experiences for customers and fulfilling careers for its employees. From working at iconic sports arenas to national parks and casinos, employees of Delaware North are part of a team that shapes the future of hospitality through a commitment to excellent service and innovative management.

The seasonal position of Concessions Bar Lead at Delaware North Sportservice at Globe Life Field is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and seek to deliver outstanding guest service. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards Delaware North is known for by supervising assigned concession stands, specifically bar areas, during events. The position pays $17.00 per hour and is suitable for candidates who have experience in food service and a particular interest or experience in alcohol service and bar management.

As a Concessions Bar Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing bar set-up and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations during event days. You will lead and support your team to adhere strictly to company policies and alcohol service procedures, promote teamwork, and ensure that every guest has a positive experience. Managing inventory through ordering liquor and beverage products, completing daily sales reports, and assisting with end-of-month financial reporting and inventory are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, training and evaluating team members form a significant part of your duties, allowing you to help develop their skills and enforce high standards of service.

This role requires physical stamina, as it involves standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds, with exposure to variable temperatures depending on the season. The shifts are primarily evenings, weekends, and event-driven, which fits well with individuals seeking seasonal work in an exciting environment. Delaware North values safety and team well-being, offering flexible work schedules and a comprehensive benefits package to support employees personally and professionally.

The benefits package reflects Delaware North’s commitment to employee care, including weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. Eligible team members may also access health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. This role is a fantastic chance to join a dynamic company that values growth, diversity, and a supportive, inclusive work culture.
