The role being offered is customer-facing, centered on providing excellent service to attendees of live events and visitors to concession stands. The position involves managing transactions, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the event. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and energetic, capable of maintaining inventory, adhering to health and safety regulations, and providing support to both permanent and temporary staff.
This job is located on-site at the Abilene Convention Center and offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Job Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months of related experience and/or training preferred
- Basic working knowledge of food and beverage and food & bar preparation
- Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money
- Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintains inventory and supplies at assigned locations
- Maintains rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation laws, as well as safe storage procedures
- Maintains rules and regulations when it comes to serving alcohol of any kind
- Maintains organization and cleanliness in all retail areas assigned
- Ensures non-profits, part time staff, third parties, and temporary staff are accurately following our inventory procedures
- Assists workers with trouble shooting and all Retail F&B procedures
- Interact with other employees, customers, and clients in a pleasant and professional manner
