The role of Concessions Worker at Oak View Group is a key position within the company’s venue hospitality operations. This role is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items to guests in fast-paced concession environments. The Concessions Worker must provide exceptional guest service while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. The position involves processing accurate cashless transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensuring all beverages, including alcoholic drinks, are served responsibly and in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. This role pays an hourly rate of $13.70 to $16.44 and is tip eligible, offering part-time employees access to benefits such as the 401(k) savings plan and matching. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three or more months experience in food service industry preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers and guests
  • Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and check ID in accordance with regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cashless transactions, including credit/debit cards and mobile payments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers and guests

Job Duties

  • Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction
  • Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manager of low stock items
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes
  • Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly
  • Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
