Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior customer service or food service experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math skills
- ability to handle cash and use a POS system
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
Job Qualifications
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management staff, volunteers, and guests
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
Job Duties
- greet guests and take orders for food and beverage products
- prepare simple foods and beverages utilizing company recipes and portion standards
- accept payment from guests
- keep work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards
- memorize product menu available at each concession location
- assist in clean up and break down of concession area at end of event
- maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- ensure all work areas and equipment are clean
- properly store food products
- clean utensils and put them away
- sweep and mop floor at end of shift
