Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience in food and beverage or related field
- valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math proficiency
- physical ability to lift heavy objects
- availability to work varied event schedules including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- ability to supervise the work of others
- ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment
- possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions addition subtraction multiplication division percentages as they relate to POS cash credit transactions cash reconciliation and product inventory
- basic knowledge of office software Excel Word Teams and PowerPoint
- ability to lift heavy objects as needed
Job Duties
- Oversee set-up and readiness of designated concession stands prior to each event under the Concessions Manager
- assign duties to employees and volunteers ensuring operational efficiency
- monitor food production inventory levels and cash handling procedures
- assist in training new and current staff on procedures best practices and guest service standards
- step in to support or backfill any position as needed to maintain service and guest satisfaction
- assist with Premium Services operations and special events as needed
- maintain a safe clean and harassment-free work environment promptly report and address safety issues
