The Concessions Supervisor is a key operational role within this venue responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities of the concession stands during events. This position demands strong leadership skills to supervise and coordinate staff and volunteers ensuring the concession stands are set up and maintained efficiently. The Concessions Supervisor monitors food production, inventory control, cash handling errors, and enforces health and safety regulations across all concession areas. They are responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members on operational procedures and guest service standards to consistently deliver a positive customer experience. Additionally, this role requires hands-on involvement, stepping in as needed to fill various positions to maintain seamless service.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience in food and beverage or related field
  • valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects
  • availability to work varied event schedules including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • ability to supervise the work of others
  • ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment
  • possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • ability to calculate basic math functions addition subtraction multiplication division percentages as they relate to POS cash credit transactions cash reconciliation and product inventory
  • basic knowledge of office software Excel Word Teams and PowerPoint
  • ability to lift heavy objects as needed

Job Duties

  • Oversee set-up and readiness of designated concession stands prior to each event under the Concessions Manager
