Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience in food and beverage or related field
  • valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects
  • availability to work varied event schedules including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • ability to supervise the work of others
  • ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment
  • possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • ability to calculate basic math functions addition subtraction multiplication division percentages as they relate to POS cash credit transactions cash reconciliation and product inventory
  • basic knowledge of office software Excel Word Teams and PowerPoint
  • ability to lift heavy objects as needed

Job Duties

  • Oversee set-up and readiness of designated concession stands prior to each event under the Concessions Manager
  • assign duties to employees and volunteers ensuring operational efficiency
  • monitor food production inventory levels and cash handling procedures
  • assist in training new and current staff on procedures best practices and guest service standards
  • step in to support or backfill any position as needed to maintain service and guest satisfaction
  • assist with Premium Services operations and special events as needed
  • maintain a safe clean and harassment-free work environment promptly report and address safety issues
