Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a premier global leader specializing in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Since its inception in 2015, OVG has rapidly developed a comprehensive platform that includes venue development and a full spectrum of venue management, hospitality services, and sponsorship sales. The company manages and operates an impressive portfolio of seven world-class venues and serves a diverse client roster encompassing iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions spanning four continents. OVG's innovative approach and commitment to excellence have established it as an influential figure in the entertainment and sports industries worldwide.
The Concessions Supervisor role at OVG represents an exciting part-time opportunity, ideal for individuals seeking flexible work with a dynamic and engaging work environment. This role is located within Missouri State University Concessions, covering renowned venues such as Plaster Stadium, Great Southern Bank Arena, Juanita K. Hammons Hall, Hammons Student Center, and Betty and Bobby Allison Soccer Stadium. As the main Food & Beverage partner for the university's athletic and entertainment facilities, OVG aims to deliver exceptional service and experiences to thousands of guests attending events every year.
As a Concessions Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of all concession stands run smoothly and efficiently during events. This includes overseeing the setup of all concession areas, supervising and guiding staff and volunteers, and maintaining rigorous health and safety standards to comply with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for delegating tasks, monitoring food production and inventory, ensuring proper cash handling procedures, and supporting premium services and special event operations. This position also involves stepping in to assist in various roles whenever necessary to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
The role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and requires comfort working in outdoor environments due to the nature of the venues. Supervisors are expected to uphold OVG company policies and model professional conduct at all times, promoting a harassment-free workplace and promptly addressing safety concerns. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and event-driven, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy interacting with a diverse range of guests and staff.
OVG supports its part-time employees with meaningful benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, which helps support employees’ long-term financial well-being. The position remains open until August 14, 2026, providing an extended application window.
Joining OVG means becoming part of a company that values diversity, inclusivity, and innovation. The organization actively fosters a culture that reflects and celebrates the communities in which they operate. OVG is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a workplace free from discrimination based on legally protected categories such as veteran status, race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and more. This ensures a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment where all employees can thrive and contribute their unique voices to the company’s ongoing success.
