This opportunity is for a part-time Concession Supervisor position located at ONT Field, offering a compensation of $29.25 per hour. The employment classification is non-exempt and part-time. It is important to note that employees at ONT Field are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.
The Concession Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager by overseeing the day-to-day operations of concessions and bar areas at the ONT Field. This position ensures that all concession outlets and bar areas are properly prepared before guests arrive and that the staff delivers high-quality service throughout events. The Supervisor trains and leads the concessions and bar staff on department standards and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient event operations. They are responsible for managing requisition orders, coordinating with kitchen and warehouse teams, and maintaining equipment and inventory to meet operational needs. Effective communication skills are essential to liaise between kitchen, warehouse, and concessions teams. The role requires someone who is flexible, responsive, and able to handle last-minute changes with a positive attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction. The Concession Supervisor maintains a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment, adheres to responsible alcohol service policies, and manages inventory processes accurately including end-of-month counts. Supervisory responsibilities include motivating the team, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a cooperative and productive work environment. Additionally, this role involves ensuring compliance with all company policies and maintaining client confidentiality. The ideal candidate should have previous supervisory experience in food and beverage, possess effective organizational and communication skills, and be capable of working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid food handler’s card and TIPS certification are required, with the company covering training costs. Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum 21 years of age
- Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
- Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid food handler's card required within 30 days of hire
- TIPS certification
- Must be able to pass the background check
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be detail oriented
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Ability to walk long distances for more than 50% of workday

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food and beverage management or related field desired
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory level position in food and beverage or equivalent training experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
- Ability to provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in positive motivation and teamwork
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to interact with all levels of customers and staff including management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Ensures all concessions outlets and designated bar areas are properly set before guests arrive
- Oversees concessions and bar staff during events
- Trains concessions and bar staff on department standards and procedures
- Reads and understands par sheets, stand sheets and requisition orders
- Maintains existing equipment needed for outlet areas and bars
- Orders all replacement items and equipment under the direction of the concessions manager
- Ensures all requisitions to the warehouse and kitchen are received in a timely manner in accordance with company policy
